Arsalan Shirazi was born on April 9th 1986 in Scarborough, Ontario. Throughout the years he has worked on and participated in a number of local and international events such as the Global Young Leaders Conference at the United Nations.
His debut novel, "A Sense of Loss" about the challenges of violence, young adulthood, and coping with loss was released in 2006 to much acclaim. Arsalan was 19 when he began writing the novel and finished the publishing process shortly after his 20th birthday. A percentage of his personal profits from all novel sales will be used to create scholarships for at risk youth.
He is currently studying at the University of Toronto's St. George Campus and lives in Pickering, Ontario.
